If something or someone is obscure, they are unknown, or are known by only a few people.

ex) He was born around 1650 but his origins remain obscure.

그는 1650년 경에 태어났으나 그의 출신에 대해서는 별로 알려진 것이 없다.

 *obscure가 형용사로 사용될 때는 주로 be, seem, become, remain 등의 동사와 사용됩니다.

Somethign that is obscure is difficult to understand or deal with, usually because it involves so may parts or details.
